为四川灾后小朋友写封”幸福信”让小朋友重展笑容

On May 12, an earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale, hit Wenchuan County of southwest China’s Sichuan Province at 2:28 p.m. The disaster touched the hearts of Chinese nationwide, as well as thousands upon thousands of overseas Chinese hearts.
When encountering such a catastrophe, when witnessing lost lives, and when seeing compatriots losing homes, everybody thinks: what can I do for the victims in quake-hit areas?
I wish I could do more to help these innocent children. Thanks to Sinchew Daily that we are able to donate to help these earth-quake victims. Even better, we can now do our bits to send our warm regards to these miss fortune children. Shall we cheer them up?
Here is the way, guided by Sin Chew Daily.
Write a happy letter the help the surviver children from SiChuan Earthquake, help them regain their confidence to survive and live forward.
Tell them that we care.
Tell them that there is a better live waiting for them.
And most of all, tell them “we love you.”
Guideline:
- Write a letter in your personal handwriting/ printed letter with you personal signature.
(Please write in Chinese Simplified ) - Write it as the first person. The content should be motivative, jokes, or anything that can cheer them up.
- The selected letters will be bring in by hands of SinChew Daily’s.
- On the envelope, please write the address as below;

(SinChew Daily will encourage children to write back.)
Letters will have to go through screen out, to secure the best interest of these quake-hit children. No matter what, hope these SiChuan earthquake children will recover soon.
